These stories of mine, these short, often very short,
stories are written for your
enjoyment, but they are written mostly to relieve my mind of the pressure of
thinking of them. If you write, you understand that statement. When you have
something on your mind, no matter the content, the source, the inspiration, the
triviality, you must put those thoughts onto a sheet of paper to be shared.
There is nothing worse, in my opinion, than a blank sheet of paper.
It is a
writers “unwritten law” that everything one writes will be for the benefit of
someone else, even as its sole responsibility is to ease the burden of the
writers personal thought.
So it is that I have written many thousands of
poems, to express as well as lessen the burden of my thoughts, and the same is true with these
short, very short stories. Please enjoy them or not. You are not required to be
entertained intellectually by gibberish if the gibberish is not intellectually
stimulating or provocative. You, my
friend, have the choice to read and critique or not…I have no such choice. I
must write!!
