These pix were taken over the years and remain favorites of mine. The first set of pictures are of an abandoned
coal mine in the hills of Eastern Kentucky, near Beaver, taken in the early 80's.

This next set of pictures was taken in 1953 at Yankee Stadium during an International Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses.
The convention lasted 8 days and hundreds of thousands attended. We stayed in Hotels, Motels, Private Homes and as one picture
shows, in a large "tent city" that was located in New Jersey. My family and I stayed at that tent city and were only
able to visit the stadium twice during our stay due to the large crowds. Jehovah's Witnesses for all over the world
attended and each had their own interpreters so they could enjoy the program. I remember it all so well, even after all these
years!
